I Bolg in Spurts

And this is why: I can't seem to keep up with things. My kitchen could look like this:

Which doesn't make me think I should stop everything and blog. (Thankfully this a random old picture from a few months ago. Today my kitchen is in pretty good shape)

My basement DOES look like this:

I started organizing the basement a few months ago. It was going really well. Then Christmas happened. Then I needed to get into a few baby clothes boxes. THAT turned into a disaster. So this is the current state of my basement. My goal for 2011 is to make it better. :)

I've caught up on my blog. AND on the gardening blog. So, if you feel like knowing what we've been up to for the last 5 MONTHS read on. But I won't be offended if you don't. I obviously didn't care enough to blog about it until now.

I'm going to go clean something.

Utah October 2010

We went to Salt Lake City for Ryan's cousin's wedding in October. We got to spend some time with the kids at Temple Square.

Becky has decided that she'd like to get married here. So this is Becky at age 3 1/2 preparing for wedding photos.

Becky and I also stopped by the Denver Temple a few weeks later. She liked it there too.

My Crazy Idea

Back in August I got this CRAZY idea that I could make 20+ jackets for a bunch of Mary Kay ladies. Well, I did it. I was a lot of work and very stressful.

The hardest part was attaching hundreds of tiny crystals to each jacket. But I think they turned out pretty well!

Other Important Notes: I work best when I'm watching TV. I watched all 7 seasons of The Gilmore Girls (for the second time...the first time I watched it I made a wedding gown), lots of Jane Austin Movies and The Extended versions of The Lord of the Rings trilogy. There might have been more, but that's what I can remember. I ended up sewing for about 170 hours.

Sometimes I Cook REAL Dinner

We call it real dinner because I usually don't cook. I like to cook. I am perfectly capible of cooking. But I don't. Anyway, this was just spaghetti but to my kids it was AMAZING!
